 Homework

  1. Please read novel students for 30 minutes and work on The Lion,The Witch, and The Wardrobe.
  2. Please bring back math "Celebrations of Learning" signed
  3. Please bring $2.00 for the photo booklet
  4. No Math homework tonight! (Students will recieve a math worksheet tomorrow and the due date will be next week Wednesday)

Monday, October 17th

Homework

Students must work on The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe Chapters 1 - 4 (This is due Friday October 28th)

Please be advised that the students are allowed to bring their novel study to school and use their DEAR time, as well as certain lesson times to work.

Students must bring their math "Celebration of Learning" back to school signed

Please remember to send $2.00 with your child to cover the cost of the photobooklets (These booklets are a project that will be worked on throughout the school year and are to be completed during class time when students have finished all other work)

 Hello Grade 5 Families, 

I hope you had fun in the rain this weekend. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you on Tuesday evening for Meet the Teacher Night. It has been a fantastic first week getting to know everyone. Thank you for taking the time to fill out the student and parent surveys; I had a great time reading them this weekend.

Welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Mrs. Erhardt. I am so excited to be the new 5th Grade teacher at St. Paul’s Elementary.  

A few things to remember this week:

Tuesday, September 6 - First Day of School

  • Our school day will begin at 8:45 AM and will be dismissed at 12:00 PM
  • Please remember to bring a snack and water, as there will be a recess break
  • Students will receive their “Welcome to 5th Grade Packet,” which will include a student survey, a parent survey, and a Brown Bag Biography assignment
  • Students will take their Edu Pac home 

Homework

  • Please label all of your child’s school supplies 
  • Please make sure to label all uniform pieces for this year, as well as those from previous years. This will make it easy for the students to locate lost items.  

Wednesday, September 7

  • Short school day, beginning at 8:45 AM and ending at 2:00 PM
  • Students must bring all of their school supplies back to school

Thursday, September 8

  • Full school day (8:45 AM to 3:00 PM)
  • Students should have their Brown Bag Biographies ready to present to the class.
  • Students will meet their Grade 2 buddies 

Friday, September 9

  • Full school day (8:45 AM to 3:00 PM)
  • There will be a Walkathon assembly at 9 AM .
  • Student and Parent Surveys are DUE today.
  • Please bring gym strip for Physical Education.
  • Students should have their Brown Bag Biographies ready to present to the class.
