A Week to Remember in December!

 Hello Grade 5 Families, 

A great big thank you to Mrs. Ng for planning our Grade 5 Advent party.  I’d like to thank those parent who were a part of the planning committee including Mrs. Lam, Mrs. Cam, Mrs. Leung, Mr. and Mrs. Mendoza, and Mrs. Naval. It was a wonderful way to wrap up the term.

  • Last minute Costume items need to be in for our dress rehearsal 
  • French
  • Return library books
  • Hot Lunch 
  • Dress Rehearsal 1:00PM
  • NO P.E.

Tuesday, December 13th

  • NO PE today (gym will be set up for the show)
  • Christmas Performance at 1:30pm and 7:00pm
  • Please return to school at 6:20pm for the evening performance...line up in the covered area
  • children will change into their costumes at school
  • after the performance, please pick your child up from the Grade 5 classroom

  • Dress down day- red and green play clothes

December 2016!

 Hello Grade 5 Families, 

The High Tech, High Touch science presentation came to our classroom last Monday. The students had the wonderful opportunity to become scientists and explored the Human Body through various activities. They worked in groups to put together x-rays and recreated the human hand and even had the opportunity of observing a pig’s heart!

 Hello Grade 5 Families, 

Just a reminder that the students will be dressed as “ desert people“ for the Christmas Play. 

Clothing for you child: 

  • flat sheet for bedding (colourful patterns)
  • colourful scarf for head and shoulders
  • pants or long skirts
  • sandals with straps **NO flip flops**

Please send all clothing to school by Monday December 5th in a bag. Please have the bag clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Hello Grade 5 Families, 

It was such an exciting start to the week with Halloween, All Saints, and All Souls day. Thank you to all the families who donated candy for Agape and supported Catholic Charities by purchasing Created by Kids. We ended our week with a fabulous job by the Grade 5s and 2s during the assembly.
