 Hello Grade 6 Families,

The students have had a busy day today writing some good paragraphs for their technology project. I am very pleased to see them asking good questions.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

1. Read 30 minutes each night

MATHEMATICS:

1. Practice multiplication and division drills on Edmodo for 15 minutes

2. Study 11, 12, 13 multiplication tables on Edmodo for Monday

LE FRANÇAIS:

1. Les mots croisés due Tuesday

2. Projet: Les Traits de Personnalité - fine-line and colour for Tuesday

SCIENCE:

1. Finish 10 sentences for your paragraphs in draft format

2. Complete Reflection questions 10 sentences for each paragraph: 2 paragraphs in total

3. Edit all work

4. Type your paragraphs, reflection questions for Monday. Think about how you want to display it on your poster if that's your choice of communication.

5. Type Bibliography on a separate paper. Follow the correct format (use handout given in class)

6. Bring all typed out information to school on Monday, poster paper, drawings, or diagrams are also due on Monday

3. Stencil circle (if you have) and pliers for Wednesday

The students watched a play entitled Land of Trash put on by the Green Thumb Theatre. We are reminded to always take care of our land and to appreciate its beauty.

Homework for this weekend includes:

MATHEMATICS:

1. Practice multiplication and division drills on Edmodo for 15 minutes. Test Monday

SCIENCE:

1. Come with researched facts about your technology in point form. Save onto Word or Pages or use draft book. Due Monday

2. Keep track of bibliographies used

The children have worked very hard finishing off their Socials Mapping Project, practicing the verb Avoir and reviewing the golden rule for math vocabulary: what you do to one side, you must do to the other.

1. Read 30 minutes every day

RELIGION:

1. Have a World Intention ready for Monday

MATHEMATICS:

1. Practice Edmodo multiplication and division drills (15 min.) for Monday

2. Complete pg.14, 15 #2, 3, 4, 5 and Reflect for Monday

3. Sign Math test for Monday

LE FRANÇAIS:

1. Practice and memorize La Comptine des Amis for Tuesday. Know your actions and bring play clothes for presentation.

SCIENCE:

1. Type KWL charts and bring to class on Monday

2. Type Venn diagram and bring to class on Monday

3. Finish 3D Model and make a tag for name - bring to class on Thursday

4. Complete hamburger draft for extreme environment and bring to class on Monday

1. Complete vocabulary pages on the Physical Environment due Tuesday

1. The letter 'I' is due on Monday. Fill in all the spaces and make sure your letter represents you.
