A Busy Week Ahead! April 24th to April 28th

Hello Grade 5 Parents. It was wonderful to see all of you at the Student-Led Conferences last Friday. I hope you enjoyed seeing all the learning that has occurred in Grade 5. Please note the following:Track and Field has officially started!!  Please refer to the track schedule that was sent home last week (or attachment on the PE/Music blog). 

Weekend Homework: 

  • Home Reading Project (DUE May 5th) Students will have four classes to work on this assignment 
  • Vancouver Aquarium Projects (Due May 1st) Students who complete their assignment ahead of time can present to the class sooner

Monday, April 24th

  • Informational writing essay draft completed and edited DUE
  • Novel Study Character paragraph and drawing DUE 
  • Please return parent conference form

Thursday, April 27th

  • Team Spirit Day - wear your favourite team jersey
  • Math Homework Pages. 178-179 # 1-10 DUE
  • Novel Study start reading chapter 7-8
  • Constable Kandola (D.A.R.E.)

Friday, April 28th

  • St. Paul and St. Joseph the Worker Meet at Minoru 8:45am - 1:30pm (Student attendance is mandatory)
  • Please read Mr. Kelly’s instructions regarding this day on the PE/Music blog
