Dear Grade Four Families,

I hope you've enjoyed the long weekend.  The warm weather and the sunny days bring us closer to the reality that summer is just around the corner.  I can't believe that there's only 6 more weeks of school!  We still have a bit to do, so these last few weeks will still keep us busy!

Here are the reminders for the week:

Monday:

  • No School (Victoria Day)

Tuesday:

  • PE
  • Hand in Reading Log
  • Return library books
  • Nathan's page is due
  • C-Skills p. 113-117 due
  • French: Quiz on time

Wednesday:

  • PE
  • Dismissal at 2pm

Thursday:

  • regular day

Friday:

  • Dress Down Day: Fictional Character
  • Special assembly for Mrs. Koop led by the Grade 4 and Grade 1 class - please join us!
  • PE (No need to wear gym strip...unless their costume restricts them from fully participating.  If they need to change, they can change into their gym strip during the first recess)

Upcoming events:

  • May 31 - field trip form due
  • May 31 - May IRP cancelled!  We will focus on our novel study "Because of Winn-Dixie"
  • June 2 - Planning day (no school)
  • June 7 - CISVA track meet for those who qualify (regular day of school for the rest of the students)
  • June 9 - field trip to Fort Langley (students must be in school and ready to board the bus by 8:15am)
