Week of May 29 - June 2

 Hello Grade One Families!

I hope that you all had a super weekend in the sun! June is right around the corner and we have just five weeks of the school year left!

I would like to thank all of the students who helped to make Mrs. Koop's Assembly on Friday such a beautiful one! Thank-you for helping them to choose and prepare their costumes! Several of them told me that Friday was "the best day!!". That phrase always makes my heart sing with joy ~ "Mrs. Kelly! This is the best day!" I hope that throughout their school journeys they are able to always find that child's joy and have many, many "best days ever!".

As mentioned in the e-mail I sent on Friday, we will begin the "I'm a Gift From God" program tomorrow. Lessons will be listed on the weekly blog and student book assignments will be noted in the agenda book. Please complete the homework that evening and return the book the next day for use in the class lessons. Thank-you!
