Swangard!

I know I keep saying this, but I can’t believe how quickly the year has passed. This Wednesday is Day 1 of the CISVA Track and Field meet, which is a hallmark sign that we are nearing the end of the school year.  This meet, which has close to 40 of our Catholic Schools participate, is an impressive day of sportsmanship, athleticism, fun, organization, and healthy competition.  If you have been around the school and Minoru track these past 6 weeks, you will have seen every teacher on staff coaching the various running and field events.  Our track team wouldn’t be possible without the early mornings, lunch hours, and late afternoons that our teachers give for extracurricular support.  It truly is a team effort.  I am forever grateful for the dedication of our teachers, and equally grateful for the commitment they receive in return from the students who participate, and the parents that get them out of bed for those early mornings at Minoru.  Wish us luck at the meet!

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead.
