Week of June 19 - 23

We had another exciting week last week! The Grade 7's had a very special assembly for Mrs. Moorehead on Monday! They wanted to show Mrs. Moorehead their appreciation for all she does, and what better way than bringing in her absolute, favourite hockey player, Trevor Linden! After months of planning the Grade 7's were able to suprise Mrs. Moorehead during assembly! Not only was the school in for a treat with Mr. Linden but also Fin! The Kinders were especially excited to see the real-live Fin! He even stopped by the classroom to read a story with us! It was truly a special day and a special way to end our SEL program Fin's Friends! If Monday wasn't already exciting, Wednesday was also a treat! Father Rodney, the current Vocations Director of the Archdiocese, came for a visit! He spoke to the whole school about vocations and answering your call from God! The kids loved learning from him and all the videos he showed to help us understand our calling!

What a truly fantastic and blessed week we had! We're looking forward to more fun events this week!
