Week of June 26 - 29 - Last Week of Kindergarten

 Hi Kinder families! 

The Kinders had a great week with our final school Mass and their first Fun Day! They all displayed great school spirit, enthusiastically joining in with cheerleading and the Fun Day activities! It's hard to believe it's already the last week of school! We feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful group of kids and incredible parents to support us! Thank you for a fantastic year Kinder families! We hope you all have a great summer vacation! All the best to you in Grade 1! 


This week at a glance:


  • K - 3 Primary Picnic at Garden City Park at 9:30 am - 2:45 pm - Come dressed in weather-appropriate play clothes

Last Day of School

  • Dress Down Day - Come dressed in play clothes

  • Communicating Student Learning (CSL) Reports Sent home 
  • Early Dismissal at 12 pm


I'm a Gift From God Programme

Please review concepts G to I this week!  We will continue on with our I'm a Gift From God activities. Please be sure to continue to check your child's homework folder as we will be sending home the Activity Books this week. 


Primary Picnic @ Garden City Park - Monday, June 26th at 9:30 am - 2:45pm

  • 9:30am - Leave St. Paul School for Garden City Play Park
  • 10:15am - Arrive at Garden City Play Park and playtime
  • 11:45am – Lunch (Please contact Mrs. Dmitrovic for any questions about lunch) 
  • 12:30pm – Playtime
  • 2:00pm – Depart park for school- Parents who are picking up their children at the park must be there by 1:45pm or the children will be walking back with the class to school and will be dismissed at 3:00pm
  • 2:45pm –  Arrive at St. Paul School
What to bring:
  • water
  • snacks
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • water shoes (sandals)


Mrs. Melvin's Retirement Celebration - Wednesday, June 28th at 1 pm
Similar to Mrs. Koop's retirement, we will have a celebration in honour of our Digital Literacy & Gr. 6 Teacher, Mrs. Melvin. The theme for our celebration is Afternoon Tea. 
It will be a Full Uniform Day. But to get in the spirit of the celebration we ask that:
Boys: bring a bow tie or a tie (to wear with their uniform top) 
Girls: bring a headband with a bow/flower/ribbon or a ribbon or anything that fits with a tea party theme
