Week of September 18 - 22

 Hello Grade One Families!

This week we will have our first fully scheduled week of Grade One! Everyone is back from Outdoor Ed. and all of the specialist subjects will be up and running. Grade One PE classes with Mr. Kelly are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The students have been doing an excellent job of independently changing for PE. Music class, also with Mr. Kelly, is on Tuesday mornings. French classes with Madame Caprilli started last week, and they are on Mondays and Wednesdays. Finally, digital literacy class is held on Thursday afternoons with Mrs. Espinosa. It will be a busy week ahead!

Please continue to collect pledges for the upcoming Walkathon. The money collected is very important to our school community. The students directly benefit from this fundraiser as it provides funds for us to use in the areas of digital literacy, music and many other school programs and needs. Thank-you for your efforts! I hope that many of you will be able to join us for the Walkathon on Friday September 29.

We had our first Grade One visit to the school library last Thursday. Books may be returned any time Monday - Thursday. All books must be returned no later than Thursday morning so that a new book may be chosen on Thursday afternoon. Thank-you!
