Hi Grade Two Families,

Just like that it's already October! It's quite hard to believe! A big, big thank you to all those who volunteered at this year's Walkathon! It's always one of the most exiciting days of the year, and it wouldn't be possible without your support. We even made it in before it started to pour! Two highlights from this week were reading the book Actual Size and having some Vancouver College students come and teach us about our Archdiocesan theme. In the book Actual Size, we saw the real size of certain animal parts. A squid's eye is bigger than our faces! We measured and compared these different parts afterwards. Stay tuned for some photos! The Vancouver College came and talked about the different fruits and vegetables grown locally in our birthday months. There was a lot of great drawing and laughing happening. I'm sure there'll be mroe of that to come in the year!
