November 6 - 10

I can't believe it's already November. The weeks seem to be flying by. We continue to remember All Souls during this month of November. We have put aside a prayer jar to remember our family members that have gone before us. Father Mark even joined our class to add a name or two for us to pray for. If you have other names you would like included, please print them in your child's agenda and then they can copy them onto the papers provided to go into the jar. This activity allows us to be purposeful about our prayers for others. If you have the opportunity, talk to your children about how these people were influences in your lives. Help them to understand that we all have a part in building up God's Kingdom here on our earth. Caring for others in our Common Home includes praying for others. We hope that you will also keep all of your loved ones in your prayers at home during this month. If you haven't already, please include your child's patron saint in his or her agenda. If you don't have one, please choose one. We will continue to talk about the Saints throughout November.

I hope that your child remembered to take his or her beautiful artwork home to show you from Thursday. I was so impressed with each of the their creations. What a pleasure it is to see the success of so many students and the pride they displayed from making a beautiful piece of work.
