Dec. 4-8

Dear Grade Four Families,

It was a very busy week in the classroom as many assignments and projects were due for the end of Term One. I want to thank the students for working so hard in class. I can't believe it's December already!!! As things wind down, we can focus on the Advent season and prepare for the school mass on Dec. 13. Our class will be leading, so please join us if you can. Also, there are a few more important dates in December that you may want to mark off on your busy December calendars. I will put this list at the bottom.

Here are the reminders for the week:

Monday:

  • Hot lunch for those who ordered
  • PE
  • Return library books
  • Klyde's letter is due today

Tuesday:

  • PE
  • C-Skills p. 49-53 due today
  • Intermediate choir at lunchtime

Wednesday:

  • Dismissal at 2pm

Thursday:

  • regular day
  • Intermediate choir at lunchtime

Friday:

  • December book orders due today
  • PE
  • Assembly led by Gr. 3 & 7 - please join us

Please check and make sure ALL assignments on Google Classroom have been completed and handed in.  There are still a few students who have not finished their "Mysteries of the Rosary" connections.  

We will discuss when we want to have the "Explorers of the Past" presentations.  The students have been working well in their groups and their projects are looking really great!

Dec. 14 - Communicating Student Learning goes home today

Dec. 19 - Christmas Celebration (1:30 and 7pm)

Dec. 20 - Grade 4 Christmas Party in the Parish Centre - please join us

Dec. 22 - Dress Down Day (Ugly Sweater or Green and Red)

  • last day of school...dismissal at 12 noon
