This afternoon, the Ministry of Education launched Keep Learning – https://www.openschool.bc.ca/keeplearning/, so families can find ideas for everyday educational activities, links to free learning resources, as well as how to help children learn and how to ensure their well-being while they’re at home. Please note: Teachers and schools will have primary responsibility for continuous learning.
This is an excellent site packed with all kinds of great ideas that parents can use as a supplement to what will be prescribed by the teacher. The site will be updated regularly, and has tips for how to set up a productive work environment at home, how to structure a productive day, how to find balance, and countless ideas and resources to help parents through this unique time.
The staff look forward to connecting with you early next week to begin this journey!
