Dear Parents,
With the new safety restrictions in place until Nov. 23rd, we are being asked once again to continue to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in our personal and social lives. The PHO and the Ministry of Education continue to stress how important it is to keep schools open to support the academic and social/emotional needs of our students and their families. When we all do our part, we allow our school community the greatest chance to continue to serve our students and their families at full capacity. That being said, even with the measures we have in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, it doesn’t guarantee that an exposure won’t happen in our school. As Dr. Henry has stated, school exposures are a reflection of what is happening in society, and keeping community transmission low is critical.
I am so grateful for the St. Paul “village” and the manner in which our students, staff, families, and parish have come together to epitomize Dr. Henry’s “be kind, be calm, be safe” motto. With strength and responsibility, let us continue to Walk with Jesus, Our Living Hope through this journey together.
Yours in faith,
Maureen Moorehead
