Dear Parents,
It was wonderful to welcome you into the school last Friday for Student-Led Conferences. For most of you, it would have been the first time you entered the building this year! So odd for a community such as ours that thrives on learning, worshipping, and celebrating together to have spent so much time apart. Even with the inability to come together in person, I am grateful for the sense of community that we have been able to maintain, despite the limitations.
As we enter the month of May this week, various staff members are slowly receiving their first vaccination shot over the last couple of weeks and in the weeks to come, based on when the opportunity arises for various age and priority groups for K-12 Educators. Knowing that the teachers and EAs are one step closer to being protected provides a boost of encouragement to finish the year strong. It won’t be long now!
