Hi Everyone!
I am excited to welcome our students back to Music and PE classes next week after the extended Christmas break. All PE classes next week will take place outdoors regardless of the weather. Gym strip will not be required but students are encouraged to ensure that they have appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear (waterproof where possible) to remain outside for the duration of their PE class (much like our recess and lunch policy). Students may choose to wear boots or running shoes but should also make sure that they have multiple pairs of extra socks in their lockers should they get wet feet when outside. Gloves, toques, and/or baseball caps are also encouraged to keep students warm and dry during their participation in PE class.
Also, a reminder to Gr. 5-7 students to return the consent form for extra-curricular sports as soon as possible. I hope that activities will begin the week of January 17, 2022.
