This week, we celebrated the Feast Day of St. Paul! The children learned how Saul began his life being very mean to those who loved Jesus. Then, after seeing a bright light and hearing Jesus’ voice, Saul turned his life around and began to believe in Him. Just like his heart changed, Saul’s name also changed and he became known as Paul. The students discussed how St. Paul told the truth about God to others by writing letters and brainstormed ways they could live out their superpower of Honesty too!

You may keep their work! Then, discuss with your child two things they think they have done well and one thing they would like to improve on for next term by filling out their 2 Stars and a Wish sheet (found in the pocket of their binder). We kindly ask that you return the empty binder along with their completed self-reflection sheet by Friday.
- “My Read Well” book– Please review the letter of the week and use the “Parent Prompt” questions (found on the bottom of the page) with your child.
- If you notice that your child has not finished the back of their Letter Record page in class, please brainstorm with them three words that begin with that letter. Then, have them write down the three words on the dotted lines and draw their corresponding pictures in the blank box.
