Hello everyone,
The Grade 7 girls were without the boys this past Thursday who were competing in their volleyball playoff. As you can see they put their artistic talents to work in creating many props for the upcoming school Christmas play. 
Mr. Kelly relayed to me that the boys played very well in their games with a 2w-2L record. The games were all very close and they closed out their season strong. Excellent work, gentlemen!
This week we have our first full week in a while, with the Grade 4/2 assembly on Wednesday and Mass on Thursday.
ADVENT CHARITY PROJECT
We are excited to share this year’s school-wide charity project with you. From Dec. 5th to 9th, we will be collecting warm blankets and other warm clothing items for Blanket BC.
BLANKET BC SOCIETY is an award-winning, non-profit organization that continually collects and distributes blankets and warm clothing to shelter programs, families in need, emergency services, First Nations, and Indigenous communities. They raise awareness on homelessness, poverty, and social-economic issues while promoting volunteerism at an early age. They have been proudly serving our community for 17 years!
Blanket BC collects warm blankets (new or gently used) as well as new toques, gloves/mittens, scarves, and socks for children and adults.
St. Paul families are asked to contribute in the following ways:
All students are asked to bring ONE of the following (according to class):
Gr. 7– Adult scarf (new)
Of course, Blanket BC primarily collects blankets. Do you have any gently used blankets at home that could be donated? A blanket donation is not required by all families, but we will be collecting new or gently used (and freshly laundered) blankets from those who can donate.
Your child can bring their donation items to school between Dec. 5th and 9th.
If you are sending a gently used blanket, please wash it and send it in a plastic garbage bag. If you are donating a new blanket, please also send it in a plastic garbage bag.
