Dear Grade Two Families,
This Sunday, we enter the second week of Advent. We continue to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming both at Christmas time and in his second coming, just as St. John the Baptist does in tomorrow’s Gospel. We also take this week to remember that Jesus is the Prince of Peace and that we can find peace in Him and through Him.
A friendly reminder that for our school’s Advent charity project, your child is asked to bring in combs, lip balm, and $5 as a donation for Luke 15 House, a Christ-centred home and school of love, support, and healing for men with addiction. Please ensure that all items are brought in on Monday. Thank you for your generosity!
Additionally, our Advent celebration is this coming Wednesday! A big thank you to Mrs. Stavem and Ms. Bernardino for their time, effort, and preparations spent on organizing this party. I look forward to celebrating the spirit of this season with you all!
