Grade 2

May 20-24

Hi Grade Two Families,

This past week, we had some visitors come into our classroom! The first visitors were a couple Grade Seven students. They stopped by to tell us all about their fundraiser, The Final Chapter, happening on June 14th. There will be music from rock band, raffle draws, skits, and videos. Your child can also purchase snacks to enjoy during the show. Please take a look inside their agenda pocket for a snack menu. Order forms and cash payment are due on Thursday and should be returned in the Ziploc bag that was provided. Please note there is a limit of 2 orders per snack item, and a limit of 1 keychain and 1 bookmark per student. All money raised will be donated to the Canuck Place. Thank you, in advance, for your support!

Our next visitors were our little caterpillars! As part of our Parent and Offspring unit, Grade Two will be raising caterpillars to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. The students have been very gentle with our new class pets and are carefully observing them every day. They can’t wait to see the caterpillars grow and transform into beautiful butterflies!
