Hi Kinder families,
The Kindergarteners did such a fantastic job at assembly today and we are so proud of the students who all had a special part to play. Next week we are really excited for our field trip to Granville Island! Thank you to everyone who volunteered to join us and we will send out an email with more details on Monday.

Scholastic Reading Club– The May/June Catalogue can be viewed online here. Reminder it is optional to order, but if you do please enter Kindergarten’s class code RC318627 at checkout so that we can receive rewards for our classroom! Thank you in advance for your support.
Warmer Weather– With the welcome arrival of the warmer weather please feel free to dress your child accordingly. The classroom gets quite warm so there is not as much of a need for extra layers!
Q & U are getting married!– On Thursday, May 30th we will be having a wedding for our letters Q and U! We ask that parents please send in a photo of your wedding day in your child’s homework folder or email it to us so that you can attend in spirit! If your child wishes to bring in a favourite accessory to wear for the occasion that would be great!
Terra Cotta Pot– For Science, Kindergarten will begin learning about Living Things and growing their own plants! Please send a small, terra cotta clay pot to school, labelled with your child’s name by Friday May 31st. Please let us know if you need support in obtaining a pot.
