Hello Grade One Families!
This past week was Holy Week. Beginning on Sunday with Palm Sunday, we are given the opportunity to reflect on the immense love that Jesus showed for all of us; from gifting us with the Mass and Holy Orders, to ultimately sacrificing Himself for our sins so that we can have eternity in heaven with Him. Thank you to all families who were able to join us on our Holy Week journey by attending the morning Masses at 8:15 am, and the Grade 7 presentation of the Last Supper on Thursday.
We hope that you are able to celebrate the joy of Easter as a family this Sunday and that we can all hold the hope and joy of Jesus’s resurrection as we continue through the Easter season.
Looking forward to next week, the Grade 1 class will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord with an Easter Egg hunt on Tuesday, April 2nd. Children are welcome to bring in their Easter Baskets (or bags) and if they have treats for their friends, they are welcome to bring them as well! We also look forward to hosting our next class Mass on Thursday, April 4th. Hope to see some of you there!
Please note that they will be having PE on Tuesday this week.
