Hello Grade One Families,
The Grade Ones are so excited to attend the Vancouver Children’s Festival! Thank you to all the families who have sent in their field trip forms already! We have plenty of volunteers, so once all forms are in we will choose our Grade 1 chaperones via draw! Friendly reminder that permission slips are due on Tuesday, May 21st.
Ms. Griffin has sent out an email about our food drive for Like 15 House. Grade 1 has been asked to bring 1 Pasta (various noodle shapes accepted) 454 g box by Friday, May 24th.
Today students brought home a small piece of paper which is the Grade 7 Fundraiser order form. The fundraiser on Friday June 14th but orders need to be in next week so the Grade 7s can begin to create bookmarks and keychains. All money raised will go to Canucks Place this year. Also, you may have seen a library book in your child’s bag. Mrs. Kelly was clearing out some of the older library books to make room for new books and she has given these books to the students to keep. They have a sharpie mark on the barcode so you can tell it is not a regular library book. We hope that you enjoy these books!
Friendly reminder that there will be no school on Friday, May 17 and Monday, May 20. We wish everyone a wonderful Victoria Day Long Weekend!
