We had a very exciting week! First of all, we want to wish all families a very Happy Easter! We hope that you were able to celebrate the joy of Easter as a family last Sunday! The children enjoyed having their Easter Egg hunt in class this past Tuesday, thank you to all the friends that brought treats to share. The children also enjoyed visiting the Our Lady of Fatima Statue and learning about the Miracle of the sun. We hope you enjoyed reading the book at home together. We also hosted a school Mass on Thursday. Thank you to all the readers and friends who did the offertory, and a special thank you to all families that were able to join us.
We are very pleased to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair will be returning to our school library next Monday, April 15! It is an opportunity for students and families to purchase books published by Scholastic as a fundraiser for our school library. A percentage of the money raised at the Book Fair is given back to the school for the purchase of library books for the students to check-out and for teachers to use in the classrooms. The Grade 1 class will attend the book fair and make purchases with their parents. Updates from Mrs. Kelly will be coming soon. The students will also bring home their “I am a gift from God” workbooks next week. Please keep an eye out for emails.
