Hello Grade Two Families,
This past week was an exciting one for the children. It started off with a special morning in the Grade Three classroom and ended with Fun Day! The class enjoyed their time with Mr. Kirkham and are looking forward to being the primary leaders next year. They also had a great time participating in today’s activities and enjoyed eating their delicious treats in the sunshine! Our annual Fun Day was filled with lots of laughter and smiles from both the children and parents, and was a nice way to cap off the week! Next week the fun continues as we enter the last few days of the school year! Please read the following carefully and check your email for further details on what each day will look like for the students.
Here are the reminders of the week:
Monday
- Primary Picnic at King George Park
- Children will meet directly at the park at 10:00am and sign-in with me upon arrival
- Lunch will be provided
- Children will sign-out with me before being picked up from the park at 1:00pm
- Recommended items to bring: a pocket snack, water, sunscreen, hat, bathing suit (worn under play clothes), water shoes (sandals), extra set of clothes, towel, and a plastic bag for wet clothes
Tuesday
- Notebooks and Folders Sent Home
- Children will bring their school belongings home inside their gold bag, that they can now keep
Wednesday
- Last Day of School!
- Students come dressed in play clothes
- Please bring a morning snack and backpack
- School Assembly @ 9:00 ~ please join us!
- Lemonade Party with our Buddies
- Please bring your own reusable cup (preferably plastic, not glass) and enjoy some lemonade provided by the classroom teachers
- CSL sent home
- Noon Dismissal
