Hello Grade Two Families,
This past week, the students packed up their suitcases, climbed onto the school bus, and embarked on a road trip across Canada! So far, we visited British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, and have already seen lots of famous landmarks along the way! It’s been such a joy hearing the students make connections to what they’re learning about in Social Studies. They enjoy telling their friends about the different provinces they have been to with their families and the many Canadian sites and attractions they have seen in real life!
This coming Friday, Grade Two and their buddies will be leading the School Assembly, to honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus! As part of her crowning ceremony, each child will be provided with a flower to present to Mother Mary at the beginning of the prayer service. A special thank you to Mrs. Stavem for organizing the flowers for the children! Each Grade Two student has also been assigned another role. Please ask them what their other job is and join us on Friday to celebrate our Blessed Mother!
