Hello Grade 3 Families!
I hope that you are enjoying today’s beautiful weather and having a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day!
The Grade 3 students had a lot of fun preparing your Mother’s Day gifts. My wish, as a teacher and as a mom, is that you share a special moment together when you open them, and that everything goes according to plan for the blooming flowers 🤗💞💖✨!
The students have almost finished their compare and contrast writing activity using a 4-square organizer. They have enjoyed learning about their Spirit Animal’s characteristics and comparing them to theirs 😊
They are also progressing in their understanding of multiplication sentences as groups multiplied by the same number of items within each group, and relating multiplication sentences to addition sentences. This week we should be starting to do division sentences.

Thursday ~ May 18th
- 9:15 am ~ Mass led by the grade 4 students: you’re welcome to join us
- Library: students need to bring their library books to school today

Friday ~ May 19th
- Pro~D Day: no school
Please take note that I will not be placing any Scholastic orders between now and the end of the school year. The students who had already placed orders should be receiving them this week or next week at the latest. Many thanks to those who did place orders. With the points earned, I was able to purchase a few new books for our classroom library 🤗 💕
