Dear Grade Four Families,
I can’t believe we are already at our last week before Spring break! We had an eventful few days last week with lots of new learning and it concluded with a very special visit from Archbishop Miller. In Math, we started exploring the perimeter of regular and irregular shapes. The students designed an amusement park, problem-solved to plan a garden, and designed a “perimeter person.” In Language Arts, we began our novel study on Wonder written by R.J. Palacio. It is a beautiful story and I look forward to using all of their learned language and reading skills throughout this unit. We continue to journey through Lent and I thank everyone for their participation in the daily Lenten Masses. Our Grade 2 buddy class will be receiving their First Reconciliation on Thursday, please keep them in your prayers. The Grade 4 students have been helping them prepare during buddy time.
