Dear parents,
This week, we worked on financial literacy, began writing our biographies of human rights icons who affected positive social change for marginalized groups in society, and about Joshua’s mission of bringing the Israelites to the Promised Land and the time of the Judges in Israel’s history.
We also began our financial literacy final project. Students will be making a food truck business, making a menu of two items calculating the cost of food supplies, tax, tips, and trying to make as much profit as they can! The Grade 7s will read through our menus and decide which foods they would like to “buy”!
Next week, we will be continuing to work on both the biography and food truck project in class.
