Hello, Grade 7 Parents!
As your child embarks on to new adventures, I would just like to say thank you for a great year! For those families who are moving on from St. Paul, I wish you all the best and hope to see you again. Thank you for all your time and efforts this year to our room parents: Nicole Wong, Valerie Guevara and Vanessa Cham!
Fundraiser – Final Total!
Our final total for the Fundraiser was $1987.10 raised for Canuck Place! What a wonderful (and fun) act of service. Amazing work, Grade 7s!
CSL Report Cards
Tomorrow your child will receive his/her June CSL report. You do not need to return the folder or report. Pop it in the scrapbook!
Reports will be given to your child as they leave school tomorrow. If your child is absent, you can come by the school to pick up their report card anytime between 9am-3:30pm this week or next week (except Monday July 1st – Canada Day).
Digital Files
Your child has compiled a lot of work over this school year, much of it in a digital format, and some of it they/you may want to keep. Downloading of your child’s work/files must happen by June 30th 2024.
At this time the following will happen:
all Grade 7 St. Paul student accounts will be deleted.
all Grade 7 Canva accounts will be closed.
all Grade 7 Google Classrooms will be archived.
Before access to the work ends on June 30th, please be sure to download all of it to a home device. Many of the files are smaller in size, so this should not take too long. If you do not wish to retain any of it, then please no action needs to be taken on your end.
To that end, I will also be posting the Farewell video slideshow (thank you Raymond and Jessie Leung!) for the students to download.
Wednesday June 26th – Dress Down + Noon Dismissal
For our final half-day of school tomorrow, we will have a dress down day. Comfortable play clothing is the theme.
Please note that Dismissal is at 12pm.
Your child already cleaned out their locker today, so they do not need to bring anything tomorrow other than a snack, and their water bottle.
Yearbooks
Thank you to Michelle Kwan and Lumel Aguirre for putting together a fantastic yearbook. The students have been signing each others’ books and some may still need a few signatures, so feel free to remind them to bring it tomorrow for that purpose.
Have a Safe, Joyful Summer!
Lastly, I will be praying for all of the Grade 7 and St. Paul community for a safe and joyful summer. Best wishes to all of your children in their first year of high school!
I hope to see each of you around our Richmond community, at the Parish Picnic on July 28th, and/or at Mass!
Until then, God bless!
-Mr. Kirkham
