We hope you had a wonderful Easter break! This week we learned about the letter Cc, 3D shapes and prepared for Earth Day by starting our Recycling Unit! Next week, we look forward to learning about the letter Uu and preparing for leading Mass on April 18th!

Homework:
- Please continue 10 to 15 minutes of home reading (please use “My Reading” book, “My Read Well” book, and books from home)
- Read Well/UFLI: This week we focused on letter “Cc” making the /ck/ sound.
- Have a look at their letter page and brainstorm any other words the the /ck/ sound
- Please review the Lesson 14 Home Reading, the story “The Cat Can” and practice the “Roll and Read” activity
- We had sent home a few dice a little while ago, so feel free to use those for the Roll & Read
- Some students also have a transluscent counter taped to a previous story page, this helps with finger tracking the individual sounds and blending them together. Please use those and let us know if you would like one sent home to use.
- STEM: The children’s STEM duotangs have been sent home. We encourage you to go through it with your child and ask them about the various topics they have learned. We ask that you please keep the papers at home and send the empty duotang back to school by Wednesday, April 10th.
- I’m a Gift from God: We started our programme last week and have sent an email with detailed information regarding the concept covered and the family package. Please be sure to read the email and send the workbook back to school, with the completed work, by Thursday, April 11th.

Student Led Conferences- A notice was sent home regarding information on booking a time slot to visit the classroom. Please be sure to read that as there a certain times you can register for a time.
Scholastic Reading Club– The April Catalogue can be viewed online here. Reminder it is optional to order, but if you do please enter Kindergarten’s class code RC318627 at checkout so that we can receive rewards for our classroom! Thank you in advance for your support.
