Hi Kinder Families,
We hope you were able to enjoy the snow days and extra long weekend! Last week, we celebrated Black Excellence Day – learning about famous Black Canadian Viola Desmond who is on our newer $10 bill. We also learned about Baptism and adding sums to 10! We got a lot of learning done in the unexpected 2 day week!

Here is an image of us on Black Excellence Day in support of anti-racism. The students watched a Sesame Street video about treating people with kindness no matter the colour of their skin. We look forward to celebrating Black History Month in February and learning more about the contributions of Black Canadians to our country.
