This week, Kindergarten had a lovely visitor stop by. They got to meet Mrs. Tinson, the 94 year old woman who sewed their gym bags! She told the students about her connection to the St. Paul’s community, how she makes the bags, and why she continues to make them every year for the children. The class was very engaged and eager to learn all about Mrs. Tinson and how she helps our community!

Homework:
- 10 to 15 minutes of home reading (please use “My Reading” book, “My Read Well” book, online reading programs, library books, or books from home)
- Genius Hour – The students have brought their Genius Hour journals home and will now begin creating their projects! Please see your email for more information and return their Genius Hour journals along with their project by Friday, June 10th.
- I’m a Gift from God- Please check your email regularly as we will be sending out which lessons to review with your child and which pages of the workbook your child has to complete at home. We thank you, in advance, for your support!
Friendly Reminders:
- Homework folders– These will continue to be sent home every day. Please check the folders daily and send them back to school every day as your child is expected to hand them in each morning.
- Month of June– The final month of the school year has arrived and it’s a busy one! Please check your email for all the important dates coming up this month in Kindergarten.
- Toys – Just a friendly reminder that unless it is your child’s show and tell, please be sure to keep toys at home, so that they don’t get lost or broken at school.
