Some updates with respect to Cross Country Practices and events next week…
Our CISVA Cross Country representatives for next week’s Championships were informed today of their selection to represent our school next Wednesday October 4, 2023 in Central Park, quite close to Swangard Stadium. These students received a green letter from the Cross Country Coaches. Runners are asked to meet at our school designated area marked by our school banner and two tents at 10:30 am. I will post a map of the location in the park. Students and parents are responsible for organizing their own transportation to and from the event next Wednesday.
Students will need to wear their gym strip, runners and other weather appropriate clothing. The event will be held rain or shine. Students will also need plenty of water, snacks, and lunch. Student athletes are welcome to depart once their race is finished but must check out with the Coaches before leaving the site. Students not required to return to school once their event is completed.

PRACTICES NEXT WEEK:
Tuesday October 3, 2023 – 3:00 – 4:00 pm ** this practice is only for those runners competing at the CISVA Championships on Wednesday**
Thursday October 5, 2023 – 7:30 – 8:30 am – This will be our last Cross Country Practice for the time being and is for all runners in Gr. 2-7 who are competing at Garry Point Park on Friday October 6, 2023
