Hi Everyone:
Listed below are the important details regarding next Friday’s FUN run with St. Joseph the Worker school. This event will proceed rain or shine. It will be important for all participating students to be properly dressed for all types of weather. All participating students/families are responsible for organizing their own transportation both to and from Garry Point Park for the event on Friday. Participating students will be dismissed from Garry Point Park in time to pick up any younger siblings back at school at the regular 3:00 pm dismissal time.
12:00 – LUNCH @ St. Paul’s followed by recess.
12:30 pm – Departure from St. Paul’s School
1:00 pm Arrival @ Garry Point Park – organize into class groups, warm-up & stretch.
1:15 pm – Gr. 7 race – 3 laps = 3 km – Gr. 7 students will remain at Garry Point to assist with younger runners – Gr. 7 dismissal is 2:45 pm
1:30 pm – Gr. 2 race – 1 lap = 1 km – students will be dismissed to their parents following the completion of their race – approx. 2:15 pm
1:40 pm – Gr. 6 race – 3 laps = 3 km – dismissal 2:45 pm
1:55 pm – Gr. 3 race – 1 laps = 1 km – dismissal 2:30 pm
2:05 pm – Gr. 4 race – 2 laps = 2 km – dismissal 2:30 pm
2:15 pm – Gr. 5 race – 2 laps = 2 km – dismissal 2:45 pm
All students must check-out with their classroom teacher (or designated teacher) prior to leaving Garry Point Park.
